We explain all the Signs &
Symptoms of Stomach Ulcers...
...and provide facts on most treatments.

If you have been diagnosed with stomach ulcers, or if you want to know if your symptoms are caused by a stomach ulcer, then this important message could be exactly what you need right now.

First we discuss all the signs and symptoms of all types of stomach ulcers, and then we provide some interesting facts on the most popular treatments (both pharmaceutical and natural). You will also discover the truth about why the most commonly prescribed treatments are known to fail up to 70% of the time.

Your good health is as important to us as it is to you, so we encourage you to use this unique information wisely, because we know that by doing so you will regain optimum digestive health sooner than you think.

Let's begin with the most common
signs and symptoms of stomach ulcers...

We will start with the most common symptoms of a stomach ulcer. Remember that if you have any form of stomach ulcer, it is highly likely that you are infected with H. pylori bacteria.

If you are worried that you are indeed suffering from the symptoms of a stomach ulcer or a peptic ulcer, then a proper diagnosis by a health professional is recommended.

  • Keep a look out for these ulcer symptoms - they are common to all types of stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori - including gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and peptic ulcers.
  • Abdominal pain - H. pylori can cause painful inflammation of the stomach and small intestine lining. Pain can also be caused by a build up of gases, and constipation.
  • Heartburn - Also called acid reflux, or GERD. When acid is low, digestion of food becomes slow and difficult. The result is that food sits in the stomach too long and gives off gases which can cause burning sensations in the stomach and throat.
  • Anemia - Or iron deficiency - this is closely linked with an H. pylori infection. When an H. pylori infection has caused low stomach acid, it becomes particularly difficult to digest protein (which contains iron).
  • Mild Abdominal Discomfort - Typically felt 2 - 4 hours before or after meals.
  • Bad Breath - H pylori organisms present in stomach acid create ammonia, which results in bad breath.
  • Chest Pain - When H. pylori infection causes an inflammation in the stomach, the pain signals from the stomach can appear to come from the chest, shoulder blade and stomach areas.
  • Constipation - When H. pylori causes low stomach acid, food is not processed properly causing undigested food to be released into the intestine.
  • Diarrhea - The diarrhea may only happen infrequently, or it may happen almost daily, depending on how chronic the infection of H. pylori is.
  • Gastritis - Gastritis is characterized by an inflammation of the stomach lining. H. pylori uses it's corkscrew shape to burrow into, and injure the stomach lining, which results in inflammation.
  • Nausea & Vomiting - H pylori causes nausea, but the reason for this is not clear. It is thought that as the body attempts to rid itself of the infection, the ejection happens through the process of vomiting. These symptoms can sometimes be mistaken for morning sickness in pregnant women.

Secondary, but less common symptoms...

These stomach ulcer symptoms are listed in no particular order, but they are important to note. If you are showing any of the symptoms shown above, then these secondary symptoms may also be experienced;

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Fatigue or Low Energy
  • Headaches or Migraines
  • Skin Problems
  • Pre Menstrual Stress
  • Sinus Problems
  • Sleep Problems
  • Weight Problems (Gain or Loss)

If you have any of the above symptoms, then it is possible that you may have a stomach ulcer. Fortunately, 90% of all ulcers are easily curable, but there is a hidden danger....

Different Stomach Ulcers present different symptoms

There are 7 different types of stomach ulcers and the symptoms are different for each different type of ulcer.

For example, duodenal and gastric ulcers have symptoms which are quite opposite, and this can be quite confusing.

  • Any symptoms of a stomach ulcer seen above should be regarded as a warning signal.

If you notice any one particular stomach ulcer symptom, then the best advice we can offer is that you keep a lookout for any other secondary symptoms that may follow.

Above all, do not hesitate to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis. Stomach ulcer symptoms should be taken seriously.

By making sure you know the real facts behind stomach ulcers and the most commonly prescribed treatments, you can more easily decide on what the right treatment will be for you, so that you can live without any further pain and discomfort.

Are you sure you have a stomach ulcer? This is an important question because stomach ulcer symptoms can easily be confused with the symptoms of other GI Tract disorders. Always make sure by getting a proper diagnosis by a health professional.

Symptoms of Bleeding Ulcers...
...a potentially dangerous condition.

  • Unattended stomach ulcers can start bleeding - and this is potentially the most dangerous condition of all!

When stomach ulcers have start bleeding, these are the most likely warning signs to look out for;

  • Black and smelly stools
  • Nausea or vomiting of blood
  • Chest and back pain
  • Fainting and dizzy episodes
  • 'NO PAIN' does NOT mean 'NO PROBLEM' --- If you have a bleeding stomach ulcer you may not feel any pain at all..

Contrary to popular beliefs - up to
90% of stomach ulcers are proven to
be caused by Helicobacter pylori...

If you didn't already know it - this is the single most important fact that you should know about stomach ulcers.

No matter what you have been told or what you have read elsewhere - it has been clinically proven over and over again using thousands of case studies that Helicobacter pylori is the most likely cause of your stomach ulcer.

It has also been proven beyond doubt, that when an infection of Helicobacter Pylori has been cleared, this is naturally followed by a healing of stomach ulcers.

Just knowing these 2 basic facts and the other important facts listed on this page could save you from months of unnecessary pain and suffering.

This unique information comes from a source
that has never been made public before...

We want you to know the all the facts about the treatment of stomach ulcer symptoms - that includes everything from diagnosis and testing, to actually getting completely cured.

10 Facts that Doctors won't tell you about Stomach Ulcer treatments...

These important facts demonstrate how ineffective the most common stomach ulcer treatments really are - cold facts that have purposely been kept from you by health professionals and drug companies.

The sad fact is that nearly ALL doctors know already know about these facts, because they all experience it almost all the time in their own practices.

  • "The biggest cause of failure is due to patients not being able to complete their course of treatment. This is attributed directly to the harsh and well documented negative effects of prescribed treatments"
  • #1 - Most doctors simply have no options other than antibiotic treatments when it comes to prescribing treatments for H. pylori infections.
  • #2 - Doctors highly recommend drug therapy - yet they cannot guarantee that their prescribed treatment will work.
  • #3 - H. pylori is becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotic treatments.
  • #4 - Thousands of ulcer sufferers have taken more than 3 courses of the SAME antibiotic treatment - yet they still suffer from stomach ulcers and H. pylori.
  • #5 - Approximately 65% of patients infected with H. pylori are simultaneously infected with Candida Albicans, and they don't even know about it!
  • #6 - Doctors can spend more time treating negative side effects of Triple Therapy (the most common Doctor prescribed treatment), than they do treating the stomach ulcer or H. pylori infection.
  • #7 - Getting the right results after an H. pylori treatment is crucial, yet patients are literally forced into taking unnecessary treatments due to incorrect testing methods.
  • #8 - The latest drugs being produced for the treatment of H. pylori infections are supposedly more powerful and more effective - but sadly the negative side effects are so bad that patients simply abandon the treatment.
  • #9 - The ONLY way to effectively CURE stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori infection, is to REMOVE THE CAUSE - not the symptoms.
  • #10 - Many 'old school' doctors still hold on to the outdated 'No Acid, No Ulcer' mentality, and insist on treating the symptoms of Acid Reflux (GERD) only.

The Negative Side Effects
you need to know about...

For most people stomach ulcers and H. pylori issues are first dealt with by a Doctor. The most widely prescribed treatment is known as Triple Therapy, and if that does not work then it may be followed by Quadruple Therapy. Both of these are antibiotic based and as such there are well documented and widely published negative effects that you need to be aware of BEFORE you take these treatments. These include;

Joint pain, diarrhea, dizziness, fever, flu-like symptoms, stomach upset, low blood pressure, kidney damage, increased liver enzymes, mouth ulcers, nausea, light sensitivity, itching, rash, skin discoloration, hives, vomiting, heartburn, shortness of breath, blood disorders and loss of appetite.

Obviously these are fairly extensive and can be quiet harmful, and you should be concerned about them.

  • If you feel you will not be able to cope with any of these negative side effects, then we strongly urge you to keep reading....we want you to have the right knowledge so that you can make an educated decision on how you can regain good health, without any further stress or disappointments.
REMEMBER! The main cause of all types of stomach ulcers is Helicobacter Pylori.

H. pylori infection? Learn more
about this widespread problem...

...and discover 8 important facts that
'Doctors Won't Tell' you about.

If you have been diagnosed with Helicobacter Pylori (H. pylori), or a stomach ulcer and you want to know if your symptoms are caused by this bacteria, then this important message could be exactly what you need right now.

H. pylori may seem like a difficult condition to overcome, but we can assure you this is not the case - we provide some interesting facts on various treatments and we reveal the truth about why the most commonly prescribed treatments fail up to 70% of the time.

Your good health is just as important to us as it is to you, so we have made sure that once you have read this unique information and you have seen our recommendations, you will be able to see clearly how you can be over 98% sure that you WILL regain optimum digestive health once again.

H. pylori infections affect billions of people...
...you are definitely not alone!

Research shows that H pylori is present in at least 75% of the world's population - that means 3 out of every 4 people are infected. When you consider this you can see there is a good chance you may be infected, especially if you have the symptoms of a stomach ulcer. Some reports say it could be as high as 80%.

Also when you consider that nearly 90% of people with stomach ulcer symptoms are infected with this bacterium, as are 50% of new patients with stomach cancer, then we recommend you get a proper diagnosis to be on the safe side.

The facts we list below will give you an idea of the severity of H. pylori infections - and you will see how many infected people WILL get stomach ulcers as a result of this infection.

Of course the other major risk of H. pylori infections is stomach (gastric) cancer, which is strongly linked to the presence of H. pylori bacteria in the GI tract as well.

When you consider how widespread H. pylori infections are, and how easy cross-infection is, you will realize that if you are infected, then those family members or partners that are close to you may also become infected if they are not already infected.

  • Statistics show that the most commonly prescribed therapies have failure rates of up to 70%. Take a little time to get the real truth, so that you don't become a statistic...

Once you have checked these facts, or if you have been infected for a while, you may think that H. pylori  is invincible....but the good news is that a recent breakthrough can help you to stop this nasty little bacteria in it's tracks naturally and easily!

The 8 Facts about H pylori
that Doctors won't tell you about

  • #1 - Correct diagnosis is critical, and correct re-testing after treatment (to make sure the treatment has worked) is even more important. Patients are literally throwing their money away by paying for the wrong tests which produce false results.
  • #2 - Most doctors simply have very few options when it comes to treating for H. pylori infections. (The prescription will almost always be a Triple Therapy, or Quadruple Therapy.)
  • #3 - Prescribed drugs are supposedly more powerful and more effective - but sadly the negative side effects that cause most patients to abandon their treatment, are more severe than ever.
  • #4 - Most Doctors spend more time treating the negative effects of Triple Therapy, than they do treating the original H. pylori infection.
  • #5 - H. pylori is becoming increasingly resistant to the most common treatments.
  • #6 - Patients who have been on 4 or more courses of Triple or Quadruple Therapy - find that they are still infected with H. pylori.
  • #7 - The antibiotics used in Triple or Quadruple Therapies are the direct cause of Candida Albicans overgrowth, a condition that conventional medicine chooses to ignore.
  • #8 - Up to 65% of patients infected with H. pylori are simultaneously infected with Candida Albicans, and they don't even know about it!

6 other Facts worth knowing
about H. pylori infections...

  • Over 75% of the world's population is infected with the Helicobacter Pylori bacterium. That means that right now over 5.3 billion people are infected worldwide.
  • An estimated 1 billion people alive right now WILL develop a stomach ulcer caused by an infection of H. pylori.
  • Over 50% of stomach (gastric) cancer patients are infected with H. pylori.
  • Up to 90% of all stomach ulcers are caused by an infection of the Helicobacter pylori bacterium.
  • Most people have never heard of H. pylori. 60% of people surveyed believe that stomach ulcers are caused by stress, and nearly 20% believe that stomach ulcers are caused by spicy foods.
  • Researchers have found H. pylori in the saliva of some infected people, and it has recently been proved that this infection can be spread by kissing. This recent discovery highlights the problem of re-infection of a patients who have been successfully treated, and also explains the problem of cross-infection amongst families who are not treated at the same time.

Helicobacter pylori is a hardy spiral shaped bacterium which multiplies and colonizes in your digestive system.

Given the makeup of this incredibly destructive bacteria, you will see how it's clever design enables it to survive in hydrochloric acid (the acid your stomach produces to break down food), and then to penetrate the lining of your stomach.

Helicobacter pylori is able to survive gastric acids due to its ability to produce an enzyme called urease. Urease can neutralize stomach acid, making it easy for the bacteria to survive in its own acid free zone.

Because of their corkscrew shape, the bacteria can easily penetrate the stomach's protective mucous lining.

The 'antacid' effect of H. pylori fools your stomach into producing more acid, which then makes your stomach lining more susceptible to damage through exposure to acid and pepsin. Too much acid and pepsin is even more damaging when the stomach lining has been penetrated and left unprotected by the effects of H. pylori colonisation.

This is basically how stomach ulcers are formed.

  • Helicobacter Pylori is the ONLY bacterial organism which can survive in the hydrochloric acid produced by your stomach.

What is Helicobacter pylori?

Helicobacter pylori is a spiral-shaped bacterium that infects well over 75% of the world’s population. In some countries it infects 100% of the population. This is, therefore, one of the most common bacterial infections known to mankind. Between 1979-82, Australian pathologist, Robin Warren and Australian gastroenterologist, Barry Marshall, identified H. pylori and suggested a link to the development of stomach ulcers. Since this discovery, the World Health Organisation has declared the bacteria to be a Class 1 carcinogen (meaning the bacterium produces cancer). It invades the mucosal lining of the stomach and is the cause of up to 95% of duodenal and up to 75% gastric ulcers and has also been associated with gastric cancer, acid reflux and lymphoma.

H. pylori infects both genders equally. The presence of H. pylori in the stomach induces a chronic, active, inflammation in almost everyone infected.

Most infections occur in childhood. Crowded living conditions, poor sanitation, poor personal hygiene and a poor water supply correlate with higher rates of infection (which can approach 100% of the population in the developing world).

H. pylori is the only bacterium that has been classified as a Class 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organisation and is found in up to 80% of the world's population.

Side Effects of Triple and Quad Therapy

Stomach Ulcer medications which make use of antibiotics and Proton pump inhibitors are becoming less effective as H. pylori slowly increases its resistance to these treatments. These days more and more people are turning to natural alternatives like Stomach Ulcer Fighter™, mainly because they are considered to be free from negative effects. Some people even use Antacids in an attempt to avoid the more costly treatments...

Side effects of biaxin, amoxicillin, metronidazole include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, changes in taste, and headache. Call your doctor immediately if you experience persistent diarrhea, abdominal pain or cramping, blood or mucus in your stool. Biaxin only may be taken with milk if stomach upset occurs. Amoxicillin only: Drink plenty of liquids. Metronidazole only: Avoid alcohol while taking and for at least one day after finishing the medication.

Side effects of proton pump inhibitors include headache, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, and constipation. Call your doctor if you experience skin rash, weakness, sore tongue, numbness or tingling, chest pain, dark urine, severe stomach pain or fast or irregular heartbeat.

Bismuth may cause stools to become gray-black. Tetracycline makes skin more sensitive to sunlight; wear sunscreen.

Side effects of H2-blockers include headache, dizziness, diarrhea, and constipation. People with kidney disease need to take a lower dosage to prevent side effects such as confusion and dizziness. Call your doctor if you experience signs of liver problems: unusual tiredness, persistent nausea or vomiting, severe stomach or abdominal pain, dark urine, yellowing eyes or skin.

Side effects include nausea, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Do not take if you have kidney or liver problems. Other side effects include gray-black stools, vomiting, stomach upset, changes in taste, headache and sun sensitivity.

Usual administration of Prevpac involves swallowing two 500-mg amoxicillin capsules, one 500-mg Biaxin tablet, and one 30-mg Prevacid capsule 2x/day before eating. Side effects include diarrhea, headache and changes in taste.

Symptoms

Symptoms experienced by infected patients prior to taking the above drugs can include no symptoms at all, burning pain in the upper portion of the abdomen, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, burping, acid reflux and loss of appetite.

Diagnosis and Tests

There are many different tests used to diagnose H. pylori infection. Tests for H. pylori can be divided into two groups: a. invasive, which require upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy) and are based on the analysis of gastric biopsy specimens, and b. non-invasive.

  • Gastroscopy A Gastroenterologist may perform a gastroscopy. This examination requires the patient to be sedated before an endoscope equipped with miniature video equipment is inserted through the mouth and down into the oesophagus (throat). The Gastroenterologist can then take a biopsy (sample of tissue) for testing to determine the presence of H. pylori infection. A histological diagnosis, where this tissue sample is examined under a microscope, is probably the gold standard. As well as confirming the presence of H. pylori, the pathological state of the stomach lining can be determined and defined as acute or chronic gastritis, atrophy, abnormal cells (metaplasia or dysplasia - precancerous changes), Barrett's oesophagus, or even lymphoma / malignancy. A rapid urease test may also be used to prove infection. These tests are known to achieve very high levels of accuracy. Culture of H. pylori can be carried out on such a tissue biopsy especially to determine sensitivity to particular antibiotics. This is of most importance in those who had failed the usual treatment and still carry the infection. In those patients sensitivity of H. pylori organism is tested for appropriate treatment to be commenced.
    • The biopsy is only useful if the surgeon has managed to get a sample that contains the H.pylori bacteria. In a number of cases this does not happen.
  • Urea Breath Tests Breath testing provides a rapid, non-invasive way of detecting the presence of active infection and is often used to check whether eradication has been successful. This test uses a sample of exhaled breath to determine infection. The principle of this exam relies on the ability of the bacteria to convert a compound called urea to carbon dioxide. When a specially labelled urea is ingested, the exhaled breath can be tested for labelled carbon dioxide. These tests are very accurate and easy to perform.
    • Patients swallow urea labelled with an uncommon isotope, either radioactive carbon-14 or non-radioactive carbon-13. In the next 10–30 minutes, the detection of isotope-labelled carbon dioxide in exhaled breath indicates that the urea was split; this indicates that urease (the enzyme that H. pylori uses to break down urea) is present in the stomach, and therefore that H. pylori bacteria are present.
  • Serology Patients' blood may be screened for the presence of antibodies to H. pylori indicating an immune response to the bacteria. These tests are less accurate than other available tests and do not discriminate between current infection and recent exposure. In those patients where the gastric lining has changed to the precancerous form of intestinal Metaplasia, neither biopsy nor Urea Breath Tests are able to be used as there are very few bacteria present. However serial serology from antibody concentrations can be used as follow up post treatment of Helicobacter infection.
  • Stool H.pylori Antigen Test. This can be quite an accurate test and is one which is becoming used more frequently.
    • The test has a sensitivity and specificity of 96% for detecting H pylori infection. False-negative results may be obtained on specimens from patients who have ingested selected medications (antimicrobials, proton pump inhibitors, bismuth preparations) within the 2 weeks prior to specimen collection. If clinically indicated, the test may be repeated on a new specimen obtained 2 weeks after stopping treatment with these medications. Positive results are not affected by medication.

A positive result ≥7 days after starting therapy is indicative of ineffective treatment or recurrence. Testing for eradication should be performed ≥4 weeks post therapy; a negative result at this time indicates eradication of the infection.

Complications

H. pylori has been strongly linked to the development of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Eradication of H. pylori can prevent stomach ulcers forming. Indeed patients presenting with stomach ulcers should be tested for H. pylori and treated because eradication of H. pylori in patients with pre-existing stomach ulcers cures ulcer disease and can prevent most recurrences.

Gastric adenocarcinoma (Stomach Cancer) is the second leading cause of cancer death worldwide. There is strong evidence that H. pylori contributes to the development of gastric cancer. H. pylori infection is most closely associated with stomach cancer. Hence, due to its known association, all patients with H. pylori should be treated to prevent development of stomach cancer.

H. pylori infection can also lead to the development of a condition known as mucosa-associated-lymphoid-tissue (MALT) Lymphoma, a type of cancer of the stomach. Treatment and eradication of H. pylori infection can result in regression of the malignancy in up to 75% of cases.

Doctors First Line Therapy

Treatment for H. pylori focuses on eradicating the bacteria from the stomach using a combination of organism-specific antibiotics with an acid suppressor and/or stomach protector. The use of only one or two medications to treat H. pylori is not recommended. Different countries have different approved treatments for H. pylori. This regimen of triple therapy reduces stomach ulcer symptoms, kills H. pylori and prevents stomach ulcer recurrence in around 70% of patients but its efficacy is slowly falling as the H. pylori bacteria becomes resistant to the antibiotics.

With the use of antibiotics to treat so many patients with various conditions it has become more difficult to treat H. pylori due to increasing occurrence of antibiotic resistant strains. As a result, up to 35% of patients fail the first line therapy.

Doctors Second line and subsequent therapies

In those patients who have been treated for H. pylori and the bacteria continues to be present, for example as determined by a Urea Breath Test, a further treatment using the previous therapy should not be tried again

Unfortunately once a patient has been treated using a standard first-line treatment, but fails to eradicate the infection, the H. pylori remaining can become resistant to a number of the antibiotics used. As such it is imperative that the patient is treated with different antibiotics to reduce the likelihood of creating a "super-resistant" infection.

Second-line treatments, which are adjusted to suit each patient based on the number and type of previous treatment, can include the following medications: Rifabutin, Bismuth subsalicylate Furazolidone, Lactoferrin, Nitazoxanide and Levofloxacin.

  • 90% of all Stomach Ulcers caused by H. pylori. It is not caused by your job, what you eat, or stress.
  • 75% of the Worlds Population has this infection. In some places 100% of the population suffer from this infection.
  • Doctors Treatment not always effective. Most H. pylori is now resistant to antibiotic treatments. Doctors do not make any guarantees that they can get rid of the Stomach Ulcers.
  • Doctors Treatment has significant side effects. Makes you feel worse that the pain caused by the Stomach Ulcers.
  • Doctors Treatment is Expensive. In terms of doctors and hospital time and the drugs being used the cost of killing the H. pylori bacteria in your stomach is not cheap. These costs can be ongoing if the first treatment doesn't work and you need a second or third attempt.

There is such a solution that is revealed below.

This is how I found out about this Natural Remedy

It was back in the dark ages when I actually stumbled across this. By that I mean in the 1990's.

At that time I was researching natural remedies as a personal pastime, and came across the fact that Stomach Ulcers were caused by a bacteria and could be cured by killing this bacteria.

Then as now, I don't have anyone in our immediate family that has or does suffer with Stomach Ulcers, so the information was shoved into the Interesting - but not for us folder.

Fast forward to 2014 when a chance remark by an acquaintance mentioned that he had Stomach Ulcers and the Doctors didn't seem to be able to get rid of them. At that point they were talking about an operation to cut them out and he wasn't too thrilled with that prospect.

That conversation triggered a memory and I ended up searching through my shelved folders for the information I had come across all those years ago.

After dragging it out and dusting it off, I did some more research and discovered that some more information had been published about Stomach Ulcers and the H. pylori bacteria.

We produced some capsules and gave them to Danny to see if they fixed him up.

The next time we saw him (about 15 days later), he told us that he was feeling a lot better and his Doctor now told him that he probably would not need an operation.

Another week later and Danny told us that the Doctors tests had now come back negative and had given him the all clear.

Danny is now H. pylori and Stomach Ulcer free, and was loving it. No more pain or discomfort.

Danny achieved this by taking 3 capsules a day with breakfast, and kept this up until all the 90 capsules were gone.

This solution worked for Danny, and we believe that it will work for you as well.

“A feeble body makes a feeble mind. I do not know what doctors cure us of, but I know this: they infect us with very deadly diseases, cowardice, timidity, credulity, the fear of death. What matter if they make the dead walk, we have no need of corpses; they fail to give us men, and it is men we need.”
Jean-Jacques Rousseau
