Allergen Statement

Wasabia Japonica has been used for centuries as a food item in Asia. There are no known adverse ill effects caused by the ingestion of this product. It has been noted that some people who are unable to eat highly spiced foods have an unpleasant feeling in the stomach area if the powder is ingested on an empty stomach.

This product produces Allyl Isothiocyanate (Mustard Oil) as a by-product when ingested or mixed with water. The above product does not contain Mustard as an ingredient.

A number of Health Authorities have determined that Mustard Oil needs to be declared on the label as an allergen.

The Namida products as supplied by us do not contain any additives, flavouring, colourings or excipients that are not part of the natural Wasabia japonica plant.
