Is there Lactose in Wasabi?
The short answer to this question is no, BUT and this is a big BUT.
The problem arises in the use of the word, WASABI.
Since the end of World War 2, the entire world has been brainwashed into thinking that the Green Wasabi that accompanies your sushi and other Japanese meals is a plant.
The reality is that True Wasabi is a plant named Wasabia japonica, but the stuff you get with your sushi is 99.9% of the time a coloured mix of stuff that doesn’t contain any Wasabia japonica at all.
Have a look here to see what you are actually eating as Wasabi.
The Wasabi you can buy in the stores is no better. Here is a review that shows what you are getting for your money.
True Wasabi is a plant and therefore there can be no Lactose in Wasabi.
As a plant Wasabia japonica does not contain any lactose, because lactose only comes from mammals.
How do you know if you are getting True Wasabi?
Well, you have to look at the ingredients list on the item you are purchasing.
If it has an ingredient list that contains more than one ingredient, and the ingredient is not Wasabia japonica – then you are not getting what you are paying for.
Here is a product that has been around since the early 1990’s and contains 100% Pure Wasabia japonica rhizome – not just the whole plant (like everyone else), but just the root which contains the highest amount of bang for your buck.
The Namida 100% Pure Wasabia japonica powder can be purchased here.
A review of the product can also be found here.
Get this product and you can be sure that you will not find lactose in Wasabi that you make.
Enjoy.
p.s. This is the product used in Cancer Killing capsules.
