Wasabi Vinaigrette

This vinaigrette can be used in place of most salad dressings.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. Shallots, chopped finely
1 cup rice wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. White sesame seeds, toasted
2 Tbsp. Pickled ginger, chopped finely
2 Tbsp. Wasabi Paste (made from Namida Wasabi Powder)
1 Tbsp. Tamari sauce (soy sauce can be used)
1 Tbsp. Lime juice
Sugar to taste

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients except the Wasabi Paste in a small non-reactive bowl.
  2. Allow flavors to mingle for at least 40 minutes before using adding the Wasabi paste for the last 5 minutes.
  3. Cover and store in refrigerator until required.
