A Japanese Study has just been released that recommends that the unique isothiocyanates found in Wasabia japonica would be useful in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.

The study was carried out in Japan and published on January 7th, 2011.

This is one of many studies that have been carried out that show that the unique compounds only found in Wasabia japonica have high biological activity in the suppression and destruction of a number of human ailments.

The active compound of Wasabia japonica responsible for growth suppression of breast cancer and melanoma has been identified as 6MITC. This same compound has now been identified as being useful in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.

It has been suggested that the consumption of a functional food containing Wasabia japonica would benefit those people suffering with cancer, and Type 2 diabetes.

You can’t get any more functional food than 100% Pure Wasabia japonica in a capsule – nothing else added. The Sawa® capsule from World Wasabi can be purchased directly from the manufacturers. These growers have been providing 100% Pure Wasabia japonica for nearly 20 years now and have a good reputation for quality.
