Wasabi Cream Cheese Appetiser

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz.) low-fat cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp Namida® Wasabi paste made from Namida® 100% Pure Wasabi Powder
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seed, toasted
  • Method

    1. Place cream cheese in shallow dish.
    2. Cut cream cheese horizontally down the middle.
    3. Spread Wasabi paste all over, then place cream cheese top back on.
    4. Pour soy sauce over cream cheese; let stand at room temperature about 2 hours, turning over occasionally.
    5. Remove cream cheese from soy sauce and “roll” in sesame seed.
    6. Cover carefully with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
    7. Serve with crackers.
