Salmon with Wasabi Cream on Blini’s
This is a very easy yet very elegant entree suitable for your most special dinners. Raw salmon is served on a blini with avocado and a Wasabi flavoured creme fraiche.
150ml creme fraiche
4 Tbsp Namida® Wasabi Spirit
salt and pepper, to taste
8 slices raw salmon (from a fillet)
4 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
1 avocado, thinly sliced
caviar, for garnish
celery leaves, for garnish
- Mix together the creme fraiche, Namida® Wasabi Spirit, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate.
- Marinate the salmon in olive oil and lemon juice for 1-2 minutes.
- Toast or microwave blinis for a few seconds.
- Top each blini with avocado, salmon and a small dollop of creme fraiche.
- Garnish with caviar and celery leaves.
