Sushi Everywhere?

So what is this latest craze for Sushi? More and more Japanese style Restaurants are opening everywhere, and people’s appetite for these tiny Japanese delicacies is growing. Sushi, sashimi, and Wasabi seem to be in everybody’s vocabulary. Western style junk food seems to be on its way out, making way for this new super food.

Everyone seems to be gulping down these small delights. Let’s face it, it’s the ‘in’ food of the century, a fusion of sticky white rice, fish, and dried seaweed with included vegetables all wrapped into a tiny roll and cut into tiny round pieces.

It’s hip, it’s chic and it’s cool is what seems to appeal to the palette of people these days,

So many sushi specialized restaurants are now in every corner of the country, serving tantalizing trays or take away packs of a wide variety of sushi, filled with fish, prawns, cucumber, rice and usually served with ginger pickles, soy sauce, and wasabi.

However as delicious as sushi is, it’s not easy on the wallet, sushi can be quite expensive. As more and more sushi eateries are opening the prices should fall.

Make some at home, the ingredients are cheap and the method not too difficult to master.
