Marinated Sea Bass
2.2 Kg (5 lbs) sea bass or black cod (preferably a single fish)
2 cups white miso paste
2 cups red miso paste
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups mirin
- Place all ingredients except fish in mixing bowl and mix until miso and sugar are smooth.
- Pour miso marinade over fish and let sit in refrigerator overnight or one whole day.
- Place fish in baking pan; bake at 230 deg C (450 deg F) oven for eight to 10 minutes.
- Serve with Namida® Wasabi Mayonnaise on the side.
This serves 10 – 15 people. Just reduce quantities in proportion for less people. We normally cook this dish when we are having a buffet or BBQ for lots of people.
